Francesco Calleri graduated from Politecnico di Torino in Italy on April 6, 2020, with a master thesis titled “Failure Analysis of Cross-Ply Laminates.” His work, performed at UMass Lowell under the supervision of Prof. Maiaru, was sponsored by the WindSTAR project A1-19 and mentored by industries leader in the wind energy: TPI Composites and Hexion.
